Can I use Procera® in the posterior? Yes. With the introduction of Zirconia copings, all ceramic crowns are possible posteriorly. With the Procera® scanner, it is possible to digitally build out copings to support porcelain that goes beyond the 1.5mm limit. Zirconia copings are twice as strong as alumina copings.
What type of preparation for Procera® crowns is best and how much reduction is needed? Anterior: A Procera® prep requires .7mm of reduction with a chamfer margin.

Posterior: When Procera® Zirconia copings are used, a deeper chamfer margin is required. Occlusal reduction should be 2.0mm.

How are custom implant abutments made? Custom abutments are precision-made components for implant crowns. The abutment must be perfectly shaped to produce an aesthetic crown. At Greenfield Dental Arts, we construct the abutment in plastic and wax, then scan it using the Procera® scanner. We instruct the implant vendor as to what material to use for the finished abutment (zirconia or titanium). The finished abutment is promptly returned to us. We scan this abutment and craft a Procera® crown or wax a coping for a conventional PFM crown.
What types of implants do you work with? We work with major implant systems such as Nobel BioCare, Straumann, 3I, and Astra.
Are major credit cards accepted? Yes. VISA and Mastercard are accepted.

New customers can make payment for each submitted case using VISA, Mastercard or check. We will discuss other payment terms once a customer has become an established account.
